Jonathan Pitts never imagined he would become one of the leading
voices on stewarding your family through loss, but that’s exactly
what God called him into on July 24th, 2018 when his life changed
forever with the sudden loss of his first wife, Wynter—Pastor Tony Evans’ niece. On
this week’s episode of Unapologetic, Julia invites Jonathan to
share his story of leading four young girls through the loss of
their mom—creating a legacy of hope amidst heartbreak in the
process.
Together the two talk about how to grieve well while still holding
on to the hope of eternity, what balancing loss and celebration has
looked like for Jonathan and his newly blended family, and why
ministering to tween and teen girls is so vital given the culture
they’re growing up in. This episode is an honest conversation
between two people who have each faced unexpected losses in their
lives. No matter if you’re walking through grief now or have in the
past, this conversation will undoubtedly minister to you right
where you’re at.
Jonathan’s memoir My Wynter Season is available

Girls Like You Ministries.
